As sex is somewhat of a taboo topic, or at least not something you’re likely to discuss at the dinner table, it’s not too surprising that there’s a myriad of misconceptions and myths in regard to the birds and the bees. This infographic from the Institute for the Study of Urologic Diseases lists 12 myths about sex. Along with each myth, the infographic also provides data explaining the fact behind the fiction. Myths listed range from the concept that penis size determines a woman’s pleasure to the idea that childbirth enhances a couple’s sex life, and from the notion that men are always ready for sex to the idea that pornographic material is catastrophic to a relationship.
