Christmas isn’t all cookies and good cheer, not with these bad Santas roaming the globe. Mr. P’s Mythopedia made this infographic called “‘Bad’ Santas: Not-So-Benevolent Spirits of the Holiday Season. It depicts 10 not-so-friendly Christmas characters from different European countries. Next to the name of each figure, you’ll find an illustration as well as a description. There are creatures big and small of varying degrees of maliciousness. Most serve a purpose, though instead of rewarding kids for good behavior, they mostly punish them for being bad. Some, like Frau Perchta, do both.
