Everyone has a unique perception of the world, shaped by numerous factors, from life experiences to beliefs. People may also see the world in different ways based on biological factors, such as eyesight and color-blindness or light sensitivity. The same is true of other animals. A Reddit user made this infographic called “Animals’ Diverse Palettes.” It illustrates the different ways in which animals process color, based on the construction of their eye. As the infographic explains, some creatures, including dogs and humans, have distal ends on their eye cone cells, which allow them to see color, whereas other animals have other types of cells which allow them to see fewer or more colors. You’ll find information on how seven different creatures see color.
