It should be no surprise that Europe, a continent made up of an array of countries and cultures, also possesses a wide variance in wages between nations. But while European nations run the gamut in salaries, so too do they differ significantly when it comes to cost of living. It uncovers some surprising finds, like the incredibly low cost of food in Ukraine, the comparatively low cost of petrol in Russia, and the relatively high cost of entertainment and accommodation in the United Kingdom.
