Most people have one or more causes they’re passionate about, whether it’s providing shelter for houseless people or saving the planet. If you really care about something, you may even donate your time or money to the cause. Classy.org created this infographic called “Generational Giving” which illustrates the types of causes each generation is more likely to care about and contribute to. The creators designed it to help non-profits be more effective in their marketing strategies. It discusses the Matures, Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z. In each section, it shows what percentage of the generation volunteers or donates funds to a charitable cause. It also shows what types of organizations and groups they are most likely to support, and how many of them are interested in starting charities of their own.
