Roosevelt lead the pack with Franklin Pierce, Andrew Johnson, and James Buchanan heading up the rear. It also illustrates what historians had to say about presidents’ specific characteristics, like public persuasion, moral authority, and international relations, among others. The data was compiled from a C-Span interview of historians nationwide.
