Experian Data Quality created this infographic to illustrate how the majority of Americans spend their time. It details how much time people over the age of 15 spend eating, drinking, sleeping, watching TV, doing household chores, purchasing goods and services and doing other activities. The information was compiled from data extracted from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). The BLS tracks an annual “American Time Use Survey” to collect such data. The infographic also illustrates what the majority of Americans are doing at specific hours, from waking up at 6 a.m. to going to bed, or switching on the television, at 9 p.m.
