Creating a mobile app is a complex process with many moving parts. One of the most important steps is testing, where developers and designers determine what’s working and what could be improved upon. Alphalogic, Inc. made this infographic entitled “10 Mobile App Testing Mistakes to Avoid.” It offers advice to mobile app testers. It advises not to test an app before knowing the purpose or priorities, not to confuse between mobile and web apps and not to focus solely on the UI and design. It also advises not to proceed without a methodology or plan and not to analyze each test in isolation. Other mistakes to avoid include testing in only one OS version, not testing network problems, ignoring performance issues, and not syncing tests.
