We all know soda isn’t exactly a health food, but just how much sugar is in a standard bottle?
The answer may surprise you. This infographic, created by XKCD, illustrates how much sugar is in a 20 oz. bottle of soda as compared to the sugar content of some popular candies. For example, one bottle equals 3 Cadbury Eggs, or a Snickers Bar the length of the bottle. The infographic also shows how much sugar you’d consume over time if, for example, you drank one soda a day for three years. In that case, you could have instead opted to eat a convenience store’s entire 2-foot candy counter.
