“Texas Chainsaw Massacre” is a classic horror movie and one of the first real “slasher” films created. Since the original debuted in 1974, there have been six more sequels, prequels and remakes. Though each one has a slightly different storyline and a few new characters, they all share a few things in common: there’s plenty of gore, and plenty of deaths by chainsaw.
