When it comes to user interface design, there are a multitude of factors that play into crafting the perfect site. Design Mantic created this infographic entitled “The 10 Commandments of User Interface Design” to outline some of the basic tenets of crafting an effective user interface. These “commandments” include creating a story; streamlining navigation; making the interface responsive; ensuring accessibility; ensuring that form follows function; using pleasantly-colored themes; defining font families; boosting optimizing images; mastering the art of minimalism; and eliminating errors. The infographic goes into further detail about each of these rules, describing how to apply each in the design process.
