Trauma can occur as a result of many things at various points in life. Its effects are as varied as its causes, but in one way or another, it impacts a person’s life and perspective. Sometimes, people seek help in overcoming the effects of trauma. Social workers help protect vulnerable people and assist individuals and families solve and cope with problems in their everyday lives.
